Inter Miami will go to China in November, just a few days before Argentina competes in qualifying matches for the 2026 World Cup. This could have an impact on Argentina’s performance.

Inter Miami will take part in Lionel Messi’s first international tour, which will take place between November 5 and November 8 of next year and take place in China. The tour will consist of two friendly matches played against teams from the China Super League.

The first match will take place in Qingdao city against the Qingdao Hainiu, a local team that placed 13th/16th in the first division, while the second match will take place against the Chengdu Yongcheng, who finished in sixth place. Both of these exhibition matches were played in stadiums that could accommodate more than 50,000 spectators each.

The trip is being put on as a result of an arrangement made between the Chinese companies Maijia Sports and NSN (Never Say Never). NSN, with headquarters in Barcelona, is in charge of organizing the match between Barca and Vissel Kobe that will take place at the National Stadium in Tokyo on June 7. The match is expected to draw a crowd of 50,000 fans.

According to the Sporting Director Chris Henderson, “We see this as an opportunity to start preparing for 2024 as we look to build on the success of the previous season and achieve even greater success in the future.”The trip that Messi will be participating in with Inter Miami will take place prior to the first two rounds of the 2026 World Cup qualifications that will be held in South America. During those qualifiers, Argentina will both host Uruguay (November 17) and be a guest. Messi will be featured on the advertisement cover for the tour. Brazil (the 22nd of November).
