The Manchester team is considering the possibility of recruiting Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg – the currently disgraced midfielder at Tottenham.
Coach Ten Hag still wants to add a player to play in the midfield and Hojbjerg is on the list of top mentioned targets.
A reliable source from the Telegraph said that Tottenham is ready to sell the Danish star to MU if they receive a reasonable offer.
As the mainstay of Spurs last season, but under the reign of new coach Postecoglou, Hojbjerg was no longer used.
Earlier this summer, the 28-year-old midfielder almost joined Atletico Madrid after the English team accepted a fee of 30 million pounds.
However, the deal fell through because Hojbjerg did not reach a personal agreement with the Wanda Metropolitano home team.
Now Ten Hag wants to bring Hojbjerg to Old Trafford to strengthen the midfield, after selling Fred and possibly McTominay in the coming days.
In the past, the Dutch strategist had a short time working with Hojbjerg when leading the Bayern Munich youth team.
If he lands in the “theater of dreams”, Hojbjerg will become the third Danish player to play for the Red Devils, after Eriksen and Ramsus Hojlund.
Currently, MU is still pursuing another member of Tottenham, left-back Sergio Reguilon.
