.The well-known player for the Lakers is a teammate of the Japanese-American athlete. Naturally, he wishes to one day replace LeBron James as the starting small forward for the Cavaliers. As the Los Angeles Lakers get ready for the upcoming season, rumors have it that Rui Hachimura has been working out alongside LeBron James. Only a select few NBA players will ever get the opportunity to gain insight from one of the sport’s all-time greats. As if he were a sponge, Hachimura takes in as much information as he possibly can.

According to ESPN, Rui rearranged his work schedule so that he could pay James a visit at the El Segundo Lakers’ practice facility. James is a member of the El Segundo Lakers. The previous year, the Los Angeles Lakers made it all the way to the championship game of the Western Conference, where they were soundly defeated by the Denver Nuggets. Rui Hachimura participated in 33 games and had a career-high average of 9.6 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 0.7 assists per contest. According to Dave McMenamin of ESPN, “A guy who LeBron’s already rubbed off on, Rui Hachimura has been changing up his practice schedule leading up to the season and meeting LeBron at the gym in El Segundo for 7 a.m. workouts.” Rui Hachimura has been meeting with LeBron at the gym in El Segundo.

The performance of the Lakers’ established All-Stars and the growth of the team’s young, up-and-coming talent, such as Rui Hachimura, will determine how far the Lakers go in this season’s NBA playoffs. The experience that Austin Reaves gained at the FIBA World Cup could be beneficial to him for the upcoming season.

Those two rising players need to make significant strides if the current All-players are going to feel comfortable with the depth of their bench. Even if making it to the Western Conference Finals the year before was a significant accomplishment, the competition in this year’s tournament is significantly more difficult.

A number of NBA teams, including the Nuggets, Warriors, Clippers, Suns, and Dallas Mavericks, have stated that they will not be taking any risks during the upcoming season. Are you looking forward to the start of the new NBA season as much as we are?
