Ferran Torres speaks about Xavi, Lewandowski, Lamine Yamal, Pedri, Spain, ability to win El Clasico, injuries

Ferran Torres, a forward for Barcelona, has been a significant contributor thus far this season. The former superstar of Manchester City got off to a strong start in the preseason matches, and his play carried over into the regular season to such an extent that he is now considered one of the most important players on the club.

Now, it is important to make note of the fact that Torres was very close to leaving the company this summer. The team’s manager was coming to terms with the fact that his influence was gradually waning, and coupled with the fact that the team was struggling financially, it was becoming more and more obvious that he would eventually leave his position.

Nevertheless, while giving an interview, he stated that he had no doubts whatsoever about the plan for him to remain at Barcelona and compete for his starting position there.

After being questioned if he had discussed the move with Xavi, he responded, “No, I did not speak with Xavi about the move. I already said in an interview that I was not going to go anywhere.”

“I’m not going to name names or say anything else, but I think they threw me in more than there was really out there,” she said. I was crystal clear about it; I was going to stay at Barcelona; I have a contract with Barcelona; and I am going to succeed at Barcelona because I regard myself as capable of doing so,” he stated. “I have a deal with Barcelona.”

In addition to that, he mentioned that this year’s Barcelona team is quite formidable. “[Barcelona is] a very strong team, with a lot of talent, and with many players per position, which is good for us and I think it looks like it’s going to be a good year,” I said. “[Barcelona has] many players per position, which is good for us.”

When asked about Xavi’s statement that the rest of the team should look up to him as an example, Torres responded by saying, “At a club like Barcelona, it’s very complicated.” You are obligated to win every game and, on top of that, play really well. There are many instances in which you cannot accomplish everything. For me, discipline is of the utmost importance since it ensures that I stay on the right path, which ultimately leads to favorable outcomes.

The connection with Robert Lewandowski as well as the injuries

The young attacker has acknowledged that ever since Lewandowski arrived to Barcelona, he has been picking up new skills from him, and he says this is something that he is very grateful for. He is under the impression that all it takes to make significant progress is for people to pay attention to him.

“Yes, from the first day, I have attached myself to him a lot because he is a reference. This has been the case from the beginning.” I believe that if I pay attention to him, I will be able to make significant progress in spite of him.

I consider myself to be a pretty competitive person, and one way I compete with him in training is by attempting to score more goals than he does. “Perhaps, without even realizing it, he is helping me become a better player,” he remarked.

This season has been marred by the absence of several key players for Barcelona due to injury, notably Pedri, Frenkie de Jong, and even Ronald Araujo for a stretch of time.

“We play once every three days, there is almost no respite, and I believe that this is something that is unavoidable in the world of football since the games require a great deal of intensity.

He went on to say, “I hope that the players on our team who are injured return soon so that we can have the squad at 100%,”

In addition, in response to the question of whether or not playing in Montujic as opposed to Camp Nou has made him experience any differences, he stated:

“It seemed like there was going to be a lot of change, but a big thanks to the fans because they are making us feel like we are at Camp Nou, supporting us, and encouraging us, and it is something that is very important.”

While this was going on, there were also some words set aside for Lamine Yamal, who has been experiencing some discomfort.

“Yes, I saw him, and he appeared to be in some sort of distress. He stated, “You can’t really talk to him, but you have to take care of him and make sure he doesn’t get injured because he’s a key player.”

There was also a lot of appreciation for Sergi Roberto and the way that he has been leading the team, and Torres noted that Sergi Roberto is an example for him: “For me Sergi Roberto is an example. He is someone who has a deep familiarity with the club. Because he has spent his entire life in this location, he is familiar with how to take control of the group and is able to sound the alarm when it is important to do so.

The power of the mind

Torres has been seeing a psychologist, and the forward is of the opinion that attending sessions of this nature in Spain is still considered taboo.

“Yes Indeed. Because it is something that is completely regular, it is a topic that needs to be normalized even if it is already normal. If I had known what I know now, I would have begun working when I was 14.15 years old, which is an age when you are somewhat more aware of things.

“It is a forbidden subject that I do not understand, but as you see social networks, how hazardous they are, the world of journalism, that in the end, everyone reads it, little by little, it is becoming OK to discuss.

“It’s not to make your own cases or anything, but in the end, just as many people follow us, many people read you, and many people read it on social networks, and you have to try to work on it so that the sooner you know how to live with it, the better.”

He responded, “No, it was something very normal and very smooth,” when he was asked if there was a particular time when he made the decision to seek the assistance of a specialist. Simply letting me know that I would be working with a psychologist, despite the fact that I have never before collaborated with a psychologist.

“Anyway, as you said about the taboo, I didn’t see it as necessary, I thought it was for those who had problems and vice versa, working with my psychologist changed my life because after starting to work with him I realized many things, the ones I didn’t pay much attention to.” “Anyway, as you said about the taboo, I didn’t see it as necessary, I thought it was for those who had problems and vice versa.”

The forward believes that all of these workouts have helped him improve as a football player, stating that he is “now a better footballer than I was last year, than I was two years ago, when I debuted in the First Division.”

Because of what? Because I am able to imagine more things, including myself successfully completing the goals I have set for myself, analyzing the errors I have made, and deriving, from that, the steps I need to do in order to make things better and move closer to the goal I have set for myself.

In addition, when asked to clarify his objective, he stated, “A lot of success, of course, who doesn’t desire success?

“Above all, do great things this year with the club and on a personal level, achieve new goals and records, surpass City’s Ferran, the one from last season, make better plays, improve everything.” “Above all, do great things this year with the club and on a personal level.”

The national team and the weapons they possess

Torres’ selection to the Spanish national team is a direct result of his recent stellar play, which helped him earn the spot. On the other hand, the forward has a different view of the situation.

“That’s not how I see it at all. The head coach makes an effort to pick the top 23 players, but in the end, it doesn’t matter who gets the nod because we are the team, and we are the ones who are best, and there are major games coming up that we come from, and we have played a lot of games.

Everyone has the potential to be important, therefore you must always be ready.

According to Torres, the Spanish side now possesses an adequate amount of firepower in the attack.

“In addition to Joselu, Bryan and Nico and Ansu have both recently scored two points on us. Bryan is also on a roll.” What I have tried to convey to you is that in the end, we are all significant, we all have a goal, and that is something that is quite essential to the coach.

After bringing up Zaragoza, Torres was questioned about whether or not he had discussed the offside debate with the Granada forward. In response, Torres replied the following:

“I don’t even want to talk about it because, in the end, it’s over. I don’t even want to think about it. Since the game is played under these conditions, there is no purpose in changing strategies at this stage. A tie, there is still a lot of league left, there is still a lot of year left, and we will turn this situation around.”

The Classic Match

In the first El Clasico of the year, which will take place on October 28 at Montjuic, Barcelona will compete against Real Madrid. When asked about the important game, Torres responded by saying that the team will take things one match at a time because they have two other confrontations before the big game.

“No. Examining things on a game-by-game basis is the most vital step. Before we play in the Clasico, we have another game in La Liga and one in the Champions League, so we have to take things one match at a time, as he put it.

When asked if he would ‘bite’ against the current leaders, Torres, also known as “The Shark,” answered by saying, “I want to bite in every game, no matter who the opponent is.” Torres has earned the nickname “The Shark.”
