Kyrie Irving, the 31-year-old guard for the Dallas Mavericks, engaged in a thrilling 3-point contest against actor Michael B. Jordan at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi on Saturday, narrowly losing after three intense rounds.

Irving, who did not participate in the Mavericks’ second preseason game against the Minnesota Timberwolves (both of which were losses in Abu Dhabi), did make an appearance in the first contest, though he scored only two points in 14 minutes of play.
