Cody Gakpo Injury Receives Positive Update from Jurgen Klopp

Jurgen Klopp, the Liverpool manager, is optimistic about Cody Gakpo’s recovery from injury and expects him to return to action after the upcoming international break.

Klopp confirmed that Gakpo is now out of his brace and is on the path to recovery.

When asked about Gakpo’s potential return during a press conference, Klopp stated, “Cody, there is a good chance. He is already out of the brace, walks normal around, so from all the very, very bad opportunities and possibilities injury-wise, I think he nearly got the best but is still injured.”

Liverpool is currently dealing with multiple injuries, with Thiago Alcantara facing a second setback in his rehabilitation, and Stefan Bajcetic also dealing with an injury after his return from an adductor issue. Conor Bradley and Caoimhin Kelleher are also sidelined with injuries.

Klopp emphasized that he won’t pressure the injured players to return quickly, as their recoveries depend on various factors, including the growing process of the body in the case of young players like Conor Bradley.
