Meet NBA star LeBron James and Savannah’s first son: LeBron ‘Bronny’ James Jr

The most important roles that LeBron and Savannah James play are those of father and mother, despite the fact that they have become royalty in the world of basketball.

The couple currently has three children: 18-year-old LeBron “Bronny” James Jr., 15-year-old Bryce Maximus, and 8-year-old Zhuri Nova. Zhuri was born a little more than a year after the couple’s wedding in 2013, and Bronny and Bryce were both born before that. The wedding took place in 2013.

Social media posts for Bronny and Bryce make it apparent that they both intend to play basketball like their father. LeBron stated to The Athletic in February 2022 that he intends to play basketball with his oldest son during his final season in the NBA. He stated: “My son and I will play out my final year. I’ll be where Bronny is, wherever that may be.”

In a 2022 Sports Illustrated article, LeBron had a similar viewpoint, saying, “I throw it out there because I like to consult the basketball gods and see if anything happens. I’ve always talked to the basketball gods about my professional aspirations, and they have always listened. Perhaps they will be able to hear this one as well.” Together with their father, Bronny and Bryce appeared on the front of the article with the slogan “Chosen Sons.” (LeBron was dubbed “The Chosen One” on the famous Sports Illustrated cover from 2002.)

The NBA legend expressed to Access Hollywood in 2021 how much he loves his children, saying, “Together with my boys, my daughter is the finest thing I have ever experienced. Therefore, no matter what I’m doing, everytime she smiles, it makes me happy.” When he travels for the NBA, he has been outspoken about the emotional tσll it takes to be away from his wife and children, telling USA Today, “I am sorely missing my family. My mother, my wife, and my kids. And the list goes on. It’s a very difficult task.”

In February of 2023, when James surpassed Magic Johnson to become the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, his wife and children were in attendance to witness the historic moment. After that, his immediate family made a beeline to the court at Crypto.com Arena to join him in his ecstatic celebration. Before the accomplishment took place, Bronny, Bryce, and Zhuri each created a video greeting congratulating their father on his success.

“Greetings, your highness. I am impressed by the breadth and depth of your body of work. “I really do love you a great deal,” Braydon told her. Bryce also wrote the following: “Congratulations, dad, for scoring more points than Kareem did all-time. You have earned a lot of praise from me. You are precious to me. Continue on your way.

18-year-old LeBron “Bronny” James Jr.

On October 6, 2004, the couple welcomed their first child together, a son named LeBron “Bronny” James Jr. Bronny’s first sport when he was a kid was basketball, and he might be able to make his debut in the NBA as early as the 2024–2025 campaign.

The basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers maintains an open and pleasant relationship on social media with all of his children, and in the year 2020, he celebrated his daughter Bronny’s monumental 16th birthday by posting an Instagram photo of himself cradling a baby version of Bronny on his chest. In the caption of the picture it said, “Congratulations on turning 16! You are one of a kind, and I have cherished each and every one of the few years that you have been given to fulfill your potential. You are a UNIQUE child; never let anyone tell you otherwise!

Bronny has established himself as a highly successful individual. Sierra Canyon School, where LeBron James attended high school, prevailed over St. Vincent-St. Mary High School, his father’s alma mater, in a game that was played in Akron, Ohio, where LeBron was born and raised. The game was competitive. He was sixteen years old when he appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated in July 2021, making him six months younger than his father was when he appeared on his own cover in 2002.

LeBron James has admitted that he intends to do “whatever it takes” to play hoops with his oldest child over the remainder of his career as a professional basketball player. In February of 2022, he made the following statement to The Athletic: “My son and I will play out my final year.” I’ll be in Bronny’s location, whenever and whenever that may be. I would give up whatever it took to be able to spend a whole year having fun with my son. At that precise time, financial concerns are irrelevant.

In October of 2022, Bronny reached the age of 18, and his father commemorated the event by publishing an emotional Instagram post. LeBron James shared some old photos of Bronny when he was a little child. He captioned one of the photos with the question, “How old is this kid now, you guys?” How old are you, 18? It is too much for me to bear right now. I can’t tell you how proud I am of the man you’ve become, my little one!

LeBron James celebrated the occasion of his son Bronny signing an endorsement agreement with Nike by posting a photo and video of himself and his son playing basketball side by side on Instagram. Bronny had recently turned 18 at the time of the post. The proud father, who has competed for Nike since the start of his professional career, captioned the shot on Instagram with the phrase “The Tradition Lives On! Congratulations, Young King!”

At the final night game of Bronny’s high school career, which took place on January 11, 2023, the young player was supported by his parents, siblings, and younger brother, Bryce. After the game, everyone in the family gathered on the field for some shots to be taken.

Later that month, the 46th McDonald’s All American Game will include Bronny as one of the 24 high school students who have been chosen to participate. It is a great honor to be chosen to play in the significant game, but for Bronny, it is an even greater honor since it allows him to carry on the family tradition of his father, who was chosen to play for the squad in 2003.

As a way to celebrate his son’s success, LeBron James shared on Instagram a screenshot of the team’s roster.

“@Bronny, ayyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeee! Best regards, Young Man! I can’t tell you how pleased I am for you!In the caption, he made this statement. “No matter what happens, you must always remain true to who you are! You are totally and completely AWESOME!
