A recent victory at an individual competition earned Cristiano Ronaldo, a famous player from Portugal, another title in his illustrious career.

Cristiano Ronaldo, a striker for Al Nasr, faced off against Mourad Batna, a player for Al Fateh, in the election for the title of Best Player for the Month of September in the Saudi Pro League. In the month of September of the previous year, Ronaldo wore the shirt of Al Nassr and contributed to 5 goals and 3 assists. It is important to note that Mourad Batna, in his outings for Al Fateh in the Saudi Pro League in September of this year, had a hand in 8 goals, just like Ronaldo did. Batna scored 6 goals and had 2 assists. Ronaldo had 8 goals and 2 assists. 

However, according to the most recent tally of votes taken in the Saudi Arabia National Championship, Ronaldo triumphed over Mourad to take the title of Best Player for the Month of September. This is the second month in a row that the Portuguese celebrity has been honored with receipt of this award. After eight rounds of the 2023/24 Scottish Premier League season, Cristiano Ronaldo is currently in first place on the list of the league’s best scorers with a total of 10 goals. The Portuguese ace is also in first place on the list of assists in the Scottish Premier League with five, one more than Mateus Castro, Abdulrahman Ghareeb, Jordan Henderson, Riyad Mahrez, and Mourad Batna, all of whom have four assists each.

In this particular year, not only Cristiano Ronaldo, but also the coach of Al Nassr, Luis Castro, was chosen as the best coach for the month of September. Luis Castro, Al Nassr’s coach, deserves this commendable honor for his team’s perfect performance in September of the 2023/24 Saudi Professional League season.
