With six bedrooms and an extensive list of amenities, the traditional-style house is located in the city’s Brentwood neighborhood.

NBA player LeBron James’ expansive, gated home in Los Angeles went up for sale on Monday with a $20.5 million asking price. James wants to sell his house and find a buyer.

The traditional-style spread has been a part of the athlete’s real estate holdings since 2015. It’s tucked away from view by towering redwoods and bushes on a street in the affluent Brentwood neighborhood of the city.

The Los Angeles Lakers player paid somewhat less than $21 million through a limited liability business, according to the property’s public documents. On the other hand, the celebrity will lose out if the deal goes through.

This six-bedroom property, which has over 9,400 square feet of space, is listed with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices’ David Offer and promises to “envelop you in quality and elegance.” David Offer declined to comment on the property through a spokeswoman.

The listing text describes the home’s array of upscale features, which include a paneled library, a gym, an elevator, a media room, and a “sumptuous” primary bedroom suite with a sitting room and a terrace. “Every imaginable space, amenity, and comfort can be found here,” the listing reads.

The home also has two family rooms, a spa-equipped pool, a cabana by the pool, resort-style landscaping, and, of course, a basketball court at the very end of the road.

For Mr. James, a 36-year-old real estate investor, dealing in exceedingly costly real estate is nothing new.

The late Lee Phillip Bell, one of the co-creators of the television soap operas “The Young and the Restless” and its spinoff, “The Bold and the Beautiful,” left behind a mansion in Beverly Hills valued at $36.75 million, which the four-time NBA champion, who played for the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Miami Heat before joining the Los Angeles Lakers in 2018, bought. The four-time NBA champion made this buy in 2017.

In addition, Mr. James owns a second residence in Brentwood, which he paid $23 million for in 2017.

When a request for response was made to the Mr. James foundation, they did not immediately reply.

The listing was initially reported by TMZ, among other publications.
