Another of LeBron James’s sons, four-star guard Bryce James, has shown interest in the Ohio State Buckeyes. It has been reported by Joe Tipton that Bryce James will be making an unofficial visit to Ohio State next weekend.
The connection between the Ohio State men’s basketball team and LeBron James has been strong since the Ohio native entered the NBA two decades ago. While neither LeBron nor his son Bronny played for the Buckeyes, LeBron has always been a proud representative of Ohio State. And now, the Buckeyes are continuing to recruit the James family.
This weekend, LeBron’s younger son, Bryce James, is set to make an unofficial visit to Ohio State, confirming their ongoing relationship with the James family. Bryce is a three-star prospect in the 2025 recruiting class, standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 180 pounds. He’s ranked as the No. 20 shooting guard in the country and the No. 129 player overall, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
Although Bryce currently resides in Sherman Oaks, California, he will be playing this season at Notre Dame High School after transferring from Sierra Canyon High School, where he played with his brother Bronny before Bronny enrolled at USC. Bryce now has the opportunity to establish his own legacy and step out of the shadows of his famous father and brother.
LeBron’s presence and support for Ohio State are well-known, and he has a locker in the team’s locker room at Value City Arena. He has attended both Buckeye football and basketball games in the past, and last September, LeBron and Bronny made an official visit to Ohio State, spending time with Buckeye head coach Chris Holtmann and the coaching staff, prior to Bronny’s commitment to USC in May.
