After a decade of marriage, Steph Curry and his wife Ayesha have reaffirmed their vows.
The 33-year-old NBA player surprised his significant other with a charming outdoor wedding, conducted by their nine-year-old daughter Riley.
Only a few weeks have passed since Steph and Ayesha’s mother, a Golden State Warrior, filed for divorce from her husband Dell after 32 years of marriage.Ayesha shared a lovely picture of the couple saying “I do” for the second time, clearly ecstatic with Steph’s surprise.
“I was surprised by the most beautiful vow renewal ceremony a few weeks ago,” the woman said in reference to the photo, which featured the pair standing in front of a stunning white flower arch.
“He even chose my outfit and had it ready for me,” she said, revealing her long-sleeved lace ensemble.According to Ayesha, “Our big girl Riley officiated and Ryan and Canon walked me through the grass of our backyard,” indicating that the family kept things private.
It’s everything I’ve ever imagined, but I never realized it could be accomplished in this manner,” she said. “It’s a moment I will never forget.” Dear @stephencurry30, I adore you.
Though the younger Curry’s appeared happy and in love, the same can’t be said about his parents Sonya and Dell.
Sonya, 55, filed paperwork to dissolve the marriage in a North Carolina court on June 14th.
Speaking in a joint statement to People last month, the exes said that ‘after exploring a trial separation over the past year and much thoughtful consideration, we have decided to end our marriage.’
‘As this comes with a great deal of sadness, our focus and desire is for our family’s continued happiness,’ the statement continued. ‘We are so thankful for all the many blessings and successes!
‘We stay committed to and supportive of our children and grandchildren and will remain on connected paths. We ask that our privacy be respected and prayer for our family as we move forward.’
