Erling Haaland Transforms into a Viking for Mesmerizing Norwegian Photoshoot
Manchester City’s formidable striker, Erling Haaland, has embarked on a striking photoshoot, embodying the Viking spirit in the picturesque landscapes of Norway.
In this captivating session, Haaland posed gallantly with a sizable shield and an imposing sword, standing stoically in a frigid lake, enveloped in mist. Adorned in traditional Viking attire, complete with sturdy boots and a fur chest covering, the football sensation ventured into the water’s depths, exuding an aura of Viking valor.
With his unruly hair cascading around him, Haaland emanated a magnetic presence before the lens of renowned photographer David Yarrow. The collaboration between the two came to fruition after Haaland’s father, Alfie, and Yarrow persuaded the football star to take part in this extraordinary project.
Haaland, who often seeks refuge from the spotlight when not gracing the pitch with his goal-scoring prowess, could be seen in behind-the-scenes photos from the shoot, sharing moments of laughter and genuine smiles between the captivating snaps.
Both Manchester City and Norway fans have previously donned Viking-inspired attire at matches, paying homage to Haaland’s rich heritage.
Speaking about his experience working with Haaland, Yarrow expressed his gratitude, saying, “This was such a privilege to do, and I undertook the project with humility and a sense of responsibility. His time is precious, and I did not want to waste it. Erling was a pleasure to work with, and the reaction to the image in Norway has been overwhelming.”
