An Emotional Trailer Shows Manchester United’s Antony Breaking Down in Tears as He Talks About Overcoming Significant Obstacles.
The Manchester United winger Antony is shown fighting back tears as he discusses going through “a lot of hardship” in a trailer for an upcoming documentary on his life. The series will be based on his life.
Twelve months ago, the Brazilian moved from Ajax to Red Devils for a transfer fee of £85.5 million.
Antony, now 23 years old, started his professional career in his home country of Brazil in Sao Paulo before moving to Ajax in 2020.
Antony will be seen in the upcoming two-part film titled “It All Starts With a Dream” weeping as he recalls his early childhood in what appears to be his old neighborhood. The film will be split into two parts.
In previous interviews, he has described how he spent his childhood in a part of Sao Paulo called Inferninho, which literally translates to “little hell” and is notorious for its high rate of violent crime and drug trafficking.
The Brazil international player said to himself as “a boy who struggled a lot” in the 433 film that was produced and presented by Puma.
“A young man who had to contend with a great deal of adversity.”
While he was describing his childhood house, tears started to well up in his eyes. He said, “I will carry this place here, for the rest of my life.”
In the teaser, it is also possible to see him paying a visit to the children in the neighborhood and demonstrating his signature spin trick.
During the previous year’s Europa League match against FC Sheriff, Antony put on a show by performing a showboating double-spin, which ultimately got him in trouble.
The feat of skill was accomplished in the 38th minute, and manager Erik ten Hag decided to substitute him at the break.
Recently, supporters of Manchester United yelled “it should be Antony” when Facundo Pellistri’s name was mentioned in connection with a loan move to Sheffield United.
Someone reportedly remarked, “Should be Antony leading ffs.”
During that time, another yelled, “Would rather loan Antony.”
A third member of the group suggested, “Send Antony there instead.”
