Man City stars enthusiastically practice for the Champions League campaign against Red Star Belgrade

The first game of Manchester City’s defense of its title in Europe’s top league will take place at the Etihad Stadium on September 19, when the club will take on Red Star Belgrade.

The Serbian champions have won their domestic league in each of the past six season, and have reached the Champions League group stages for the first time since 2020.

The match on Tuesday will be the first time that both teams have competed against one another; however, Pep Guardiola’s squad won’t be taking Man City’s opponents lightly because Man City is looking to start their most recent European season with a win.
