Red Bull Faces Post-Singapore Grand Prix Stewards’ Scrutiny Following Sergio Perez’s Collision with Alex Albon
The Singapore Grand Prix added to Red Bull’s woes as the team is now under investigation by the stewards. Sergio Perez’s collision with Alex Albon has brought the team into the spotlight.
In the closing stages of the race, Perez was battling his way through the field when he encountered Alex Albon’s Williams with just three laps to go.
Perez attempted an aggressive maneuver on the inside as they crossed the bridge at turn 13, resulting in contact that sent Albon into the barrier. This move helped Perez secure a tenth-place finish while pushing Albon out of the points.
Although Albon was able to continue racing after the incident, it led to yellow flags in the middle sector, potentially disrupting what could have been an exciting climax to the race as the top four drivers were tightly bunched together, vying for a chance to alter the podium order.”
