Man City and Liverpool compete for West Ham’s defender

 According to Daily Mail, two clubs, Liverpool and Man City, are both monitoring West Ham defender Nayef Aguerd for their shopping plans next summer. 

Coach Juergen Klopp is planning to rebuild Liverpool’s defense in the summer of 2024. This is Klopp’s next step after overhauling the midfield this summer. At this time, Moroccan international Aguerd is being closely watched by Liverpool.

The 27-year-old, who scored and was sent off in West Ham’s win over Chelsea last month, joined the London club from Rennes in a £30m deal last summer.
