Marcus Rashford stunned fans with his poor handling situation

Despite scoring, the English striker in fact did not have an impressive performance against Arsenal.

78 minutes in the heroic battle between Arsenal and Manchester United, a player of the Emirates Stadium team suddenly lost the ball while they were organizing an attack.

Christian Eriksen immediately won the ball and prepared to help Man Utd deploy a quick counter-attack.

With the vision of a top midfielder, Eriksen quickly noticed Marcus Rashford running on the left wing and immediately launched an accurate pass for the English striker.

The pass from Eriksen found the right position for Rashford, who was comfortably moving unmarked.

Very quickly, Rashford pushed the ball into the Gunners’ penalty area, but he seemed quite hesitant about his next move.

Notably, the duo Antony and Rasmus Hojlund also performed a sprint to support Rashford in this situation. In it, Antony proactively raised his hand to ask for the ball while being in a quite favorable position.

However, instead of passing the ball to Antony or Hojlund, Rashford decided to handle it himself. However, it took him too long to find the optimal solution, creating conditions for Arsenal defenders to promptly intercept.

In the end, Rashford launched a shot straight into Aaron Ramsdale’s goal, a terrible decision when he was facing an unfavorable angle and in front of a series of Arsenal players.

The ball touched a player of the home team and was completely unable to create waves for the Gunners’ goal.

If handled more effectively and reasonably, it is clear that Rashford could have created a dangerous scoring opportunity for Man Utd.
