Man Utd’s crazy transfer last day

It is no exaggeration to say that Man Utd is one of the busiest teams on the last day of the 2023 summer market.

After welcoming the third rookie, Rasmus Hojlund, in early August, Man Utd suddenly remained motionless in all deals. This makes fans worried.

In the context of Casemiro having difficulty in the midfield, Man Utd’s squad clearly has problems. Therefore, it was not until the last day of the summer market that Red Devils fans breathed a sigh of relief.

Accordingly, Man Utd had a hard day at work when they announced 4 new recruits at the same time. The two most needed signatures, Sergio Reguilon and Sofyan Amrabat, have done so successfully, thereby filling the gaps in the left-back and central midfield positions.

Man Utd also brought in Altay Bayindir as a backup plan for Andre Onana, especially when the Cameroonian goalkeeper had to attend the CAN Cup in the middle of the season.

Finally, the Red Devils decided to give Jonny Evans a one-year contract in the context of Raphael Varane’s frequent injuries and Harry Maguire’s decline.

In the opposite direction, Man Utd successfully sold Dean Henderson to Crystal Palace.

They also reached an agreement to loan Mason Greenwood to Getafe.

Some young players such as Alvaro Fernandez, Marc Jurado, or Teden Mendi also left Old Trafford in different ways.

However, Man Utd cannot push away some cases that are no longer suitable for the club. Scott McTominay or Maguire almost left the team but no deal happened.

The fact that Man Utd announced 4 deals at the same time after a long wait also shows the poor management of Man Utd’s leadership. They should have completed the transfers long ago, instead of waiting until the last day. In recent years, this has gradually become a trend of Man Utd. Surely the Red Devils must change in the future.
