Manchester City is reportedly considering allowing Kalvin Phillips to leave on loan, with Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp expressing interest in the midfielder.

According to journalist Alex Crook, City might permit the England international to go on loan if they successfully sign Matheus Nunes from Wolves before the transfer deadline.

City signed Phillips for £45 million last year, but the midfielder has struggled with fitness and form under Pep Guardiola, leading to speculation about his future.

Crook stated, “Kalvin Phillips is a name that has been mentioned to me in the last couple of weeks as someone that Klopp is really interested in. It might be possible that Manchester City would let them go on loan.”
