Al-Nassr manager, Luis Castro, has lauded Cristiano Ronaldo for the remarkable energy he has brought to the Saudi club since joining.
The Portuguese superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo, is renowned for his rigorous fitness regimen, which continues to enable him to maintain exceptional physical prowess even at the age of 38.
Demonstrating his enduring prime condition, Ronaldo has kicked off the season in fine form, netting six goals in seven matches for Al-Nassr. Notably, he played a pivotal role in securing victory in the Arab Champions Cup by scoring twice in the final against Al-Hilal, marking his first silverware since relocating to the Middle East.
However, Ronaldo’s impact transcends the football pitch, as highlighted by Al-Nassr manager Luis Castro in a recent interview. Castro was effusive in his praise for the football legend.
In an interview with the Canal GOAT YouTube channel, Castro unveiled the extraordinary mindset that propels Ronaldo’s success. He remarked, “It’s difficult to say anything about him that the world doesn’t already know. He maintains an unwavering focus on football every day.”
Castro continued, “He radiates an infectious energy on the field and among his teammates. His commitment to day-to-day training and recovery is truly exceptional.”
Adding to this, he emphasized, “He’s a captain not only on the field but in every aspect of his life—his diet, rest, and sleep regimen—all meticulously controlled. On the pitch, he’s that extraordinary player who continually pushes himself to his limits.”
Regrettably, Ronaldo has encountered a challenging start in the Saudi Pro League due to an injury sustained in the Champions Cup final, which prevented him from participating in the season opener against Al-Ettifaq. His return against Al-Taawoun had minimal impact on the team’s performance, resulting in two consecutive defeats for the Knights of Najd.
Although they returned to winning ways in the AFC Champions League, Ronaldo’s resurgence is imperative for their Saudi Pro League campaign. His return to form is essential ahead of Friday’s fixture against Al-Fateh, as a slow start could prove detrimental to their season.
