Lamine Yamal is having a significant influence for FC Barcelona after just two games of the new season.
The 16-year-old La Masia prodigy dazzled once more this past weekend against Cadiz after making an important cameo in the previous game against Getafe.
Yamal has already achieved milestones and broken records, and if stories are to be believed, the adolescent wonderkid may soon pass another significant marker.
Will Spain call up Lamine Yamal?Indeed, Lamine Yamal may receive his first-ever call-up to the Spain national team, according to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo.
The roster for La Roja’s upcoming matches against Georgia and Cyprus in the UEFA Euro 2024 Qualifiers should be revealed soon by manager Luis de la Fuente.
Yamal, who is only 16 years old, may receive an unexpected call-up to the senior national team squad, according to the report.

Yamal was likely left out of the U-18 setup so as not to jeopardize his breakthrough with Barcelona, although De la Fuente might yet call him up for the senior setup.
Considering that Morocco reportedly wants to recruit Yamal to play for them, Spain is eager for him to continue representing them internationally.
It would be intriguing to see if Yamal makes it into the senior system of the national squad before the FIFA U-17 World Cup, which will take place in November of this year. Yamal is anticipated to be a lock for Spain’s U-17 team.
