Harry Maguire will be given a £10million payout to leave Manchester United ahead of a planned move to West Ham, according to reports.
The Red Devils have agreed the £30m move with the east London club, and personal terms are currently being discussed between Maguire and the Hammers.
West Ham remain optimistic about the move going ahead, with David Moyes preparing to offer the England star the captain’s armband in the wake of Declan Rice’s departure earlier in the summer window.
The former Hammers captain joined Arsenal for a British record £105m fee in July and West Ham are yet to announce his permanent replacement with just one day until the start of their next Premier League campaign.
Maguire has been earmarked for a move away from Old Trafford after failing to find his footing in Erik ten Hag’s starting XI.

The former club captain made just 35 starts across all competitions for the Dutch manager’s side during the 2022-23 season.
But as Mail Sport reported in May, Man United will have to offer Maguire a sweetener to cement the move, as West Ham are not prepared to pay the defender’s full £190,000-a-week salary.
Instead, as per the Sun, the 30-year-old will have his wages slashed to £120,000 per week.
The centre-back’s time in Manchester will end with a whimper four years after his record transfer from Leicester City.
Maguire struggled to live up to his £80m price tag, which is still yet to be topped by a Premier League defender – although new Man City signing Josko Gvardiol’s for £78m came close to matching the stratospheric fee.
After a mixed few years at Old Trafford, the defender failed to find form under Erik ten Hag
The final sign that Maguire’s time at Old Trafford had come to a close saw the England international ᵴtriƥped of his captaincy during Man United’s pre-season tour in July.
The player will hope that a move to West Ham represents a fresh start for his form, and allows him to build-up his playing time to ensure he remains top of international manager Gareth Southgate’s list to feature in the Three Lions’ backline.
After a quiet start to the window – save for the loss of their star player – West Ham are starting to draft in new recruits.
The club have agreed a £30m fee for Southampton’s James Ward-Prowse, and signed Edson Alvarez from Ajax for £35m.
