Cardiff City chairman Mehmet Dalman seems to have hinted at the possibility of Manchester United changing hands.
In November 2022, the Glazers announced they were looking for investment opportunities, including a potential sale.
A flurry of speculation followed as Qatari banker Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani and British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe emerged as the two main contenders vying for the right to take over.
But the process of changing hands has suddenly been quiet in recent weeks. Information appeared about the conflict between the 4 Glazer siblings in selling or keeping Man Utd.
Man Utd may be about to change owners.
Last month, The Sun claimed that Sheikh Jassim had made a breakthrough and that the Qatar side could move towards signing an agreement. There is information that the deal will be completed in November.
Notably, Cardiff Chairman Dalman almost suggested the same thing. In an interview with BBC Sport, Mr Dalman unexpectedly revealed that Man United will soon announce a purchase worth more than £7 billion.
Specifically, Mr Dalman said: ” Manchester United will announce the deal at 7.2 billion – 7.3 billion pounds, about 10 times the revenue.
Two or three years ago we could have talked about selling Cardiff for around £20m or £30m, but now you would have to look at £90m or £100m.”
