A FRUSTRATED Pep Guardiola swatted a Sky Sports camera away after yelling at forward Erling Haaland.
Guardiola was in typical demanding form as he slammed his star centre-forward despite him scoring twice in the first half against Burnley.
The camera was then slapped by Pep.
Before leaving and going down the tunnel
Despite scoring a brace in the first half, the Catalan marched over to Haaland with arms outstretched, clearly demanding more from the player.
Much of what he said was lost in the mix, but he was heard shouting “That was totally the opposite” before walking over to slap the broadcast camera away.
Haaland appeared completely perplexed by his manager’s words and did not respond to Pep’s provocation on the field.
He then removed his hairband, allowing his thick blonde locks to dangle.
“What more does he want?” said another.
A third person stated, “Pep is never satisfied.”
City got off to a flying start in their title defense, with Haaland scoring after only four minutes.
As normal service resumed for City, Haaland scored from close range after Rodri set it up for him.
However, after 22 minutes, De Bruyne hobbled off with what appeared to be a recurrence of the hamstring tear he suffered in the Champions League final in June.
With a powerful strike in the 36th minute, Haaland doubled his and City’s goal tally for the season.
It’s a good omen for the Norwegian, who was part of City’s historic treble-winning squad last season.
Vincent Kompany will be hoping to avoid a repeat of the Clarets’ 6-0 thrashing in the FA Cup quarter final last season.
