According to Corriere dello Sport, the Italian attacker wants to play for Liverpool instead of Newcastle United.

This summer, Federico Chiesa ‘s future at Juventus is uncertain and many teams have been linked with the son of legend Enrico Chiesa.

In England, Newcastle and Aston Villa have sent offers to recruit the Italian international. Meanwhile, Al Hilal and Al-Ahli in Saudi Arabia also expressed their interest in owning the Juve striker. However, Chiesa rejected all of the aforementioned clubs.

Recently, a source from Corriere dello Sport revealed that Chiesa is interested in Liverpool and will agree to move to Anfield if an offer is received. But currently, coach Jurgen Klopp does not seem to need more personnel in the attack and they have not shown a move to recruit the 25-year-old star.

Therefore, this attacking player will temporarily continue to stick with the Old Lady of Turin for the time being. However, Juve are having serious financial problems and they are ready to push the former Fiorentina star if they receive 50 million euros (£43 million).

At the moment, coach Max Allegri is intending to sign Romelu Lukaku, and if the Chelsea star moves to Allianz Stadium, Chiesa will be placed as a striker next to the Belgian striker in the 3-5-2 formation. If they really want to leave, Chiesa needs to perform better to attract top teams at the end of the transfer window, or next year.
