According to a source from the Daily Mail, the Red Devils have a plan for the British star.
From a player with big questions about his future, Aaron Wan-Bissaka seized the opportunity and became an important factor in the Manchester United squad in the second half of last season.
The English player shows a marked improvement. The connection with other satellites and the defensive ability that has become Wan-Bissaka’s trademark helps a lot for the Red Devils defense.
Wan-Bissaka gradually regained the trust of fans.
That’s why, according to a source from journalist Sami Mokbel, Man Utd has decided to extend the contract with the former Crystal Palace star. This will include a £100,000-a-week salary increase for Wan-Bissaka.
The contract between Wan-Bissaka and Man Utd is valid until 2024, with an option to extend for a year. Therefore, this will be the right time for both sides to put pen to paper and sign a new contract.
Man Utd’s move also means they can hardly add more personnel to the right-back position, when deciding to stick with both Diogo Dalot and Wan-Bissaka.
