Erling Haaland signed the ‘biggest’ contract in football history

Norwegian striker Erling Haaland has just signed a record contract, the largest value in football history with Nike brand.

Accordingly, after the expiration of the contract with Nike, Haaland has continued to be invited by this brand to sign a new contract with a term of more than a decade.

Specifically, Haaland collaborated with Nike when he was 14 years old. The Norwegian player’s contract with the American multinational corporation expires in January 2022. The Norwegian striker has refused many other “terrible” brands such as Adidas, Puma … to continue to stick with Nike.

With a new contract with Nike, Haaland pocketed 20 million pounds a year, equivalent to 415 thousand pounds per week. This is the biggest sponsorship deal in football history.

Before Haaland, Nike also spent heavily on other football stars such as Mbappe, Rashford, Kane, De Bruyne … but there was no “big” contract like in the case of the Norwegian striker.

In addition to Nike’s treatment, this 22-year-old star is about to receive a salary increase from Man City. According to British media, The Citizens are negotiating a new contract extension, increasing the salary to £ 500,000 / week for Haaland. Currently, the 22-year-old star receives £375k a week.
