Corriere Fiorentino newspaper revealed that Man Utd will spend about 27 million euros to sign midfielder Sofyan Amrabat this week.
Corriere Fiorentino in the past few days has revealed that Juventus have shown an interest in Moroccan international Sofyan Amrabat. However, the Italian press confirmed that Amrabat always wanted to move to Old Trafford.
The Amrabat deal could be completed this week.
Specifically, Man Utd is still the team leading the race and will soon act. Maybe this week, the Red Devils will offer a fee of 26-27 million euros plus a surcharge to get Amrabat’s signature.
At the beginning of the summer, Man Utd signed Mason Mount, an attacking midfielder and are now focused on strengthening the defensive midfielder position. Amrabat is said to be a warrior in the midfield area. He is the man who runs the most and is the one who recovers the most balls at the 2022 World Cup. In Serie A last season, this 1996-born player played more than 2000 minutes and received 11 yellow cards.
To have money to spend, coach Erik Ten Hag is willing to let the likes of Fred, Scott McTominay and Donny Van de Beek leave. If successful, Amrabat will be Man Utd’s fourth signature this summer.
