The current state of relations between Barcelona and PSG is extremely tense and close to breaking point.
In recent weeks, the Parisiens stunned the world by making a sudden swoop for Ousmane Dembele. The Catalans felt misled by the Parisiens since they used the player’s release conditions in order to make the transfer.
After all, this is not the first time the French club has attempted to entice the greatest player currently playing for the Blaugranas.
One can’t help but recall the events that took place in 2017 when PSG used a method quite similar to this one in order to activate Neymar Jr.’s release clause of 222 million euros.
Is there a chance that Fati could move up to third?
PSG are reportedly showing interest in Ansu Fati, a youngster for Barcelona, according to claims coming from Javi Miguel of Diario AS. They have already begun putting together a proposal that they intend to present to the Catalans.
The youngster from La Masia has stated time and time again that she would rather remain under Xavi Hernandez’s command and work her way into the lineup.
The fact of the matter is, however, that the management is unable to promise him a berth in the starting lineup.
The fact that Luis Enrique, manager of PSG, has faith in Fati’s abilities and can guarantee him consistent playing time makes Fati interested in the club’s proposal.
The significance of Barca Studios
It appeared that Joan Laporta had reached a conclusion with a German company about the purchase of a 16% ownership in Barca Studios in exchange for an investment of €60 million.
The Catalans’ strategy to register new player contracts and new acquisitions with La Liga was dependent on the incoming money, which were essential to the success of the scheme.
However, earlier this week the investors made a snap decision to pull out of the transaction, which brought the deal to a screaming halt.
According to Javi Miguel, the club is in desperate need of finances at this point, and they believe that the only choice is a “painful sale,” with Fati being the greatest candidate to play the role of the blame.
It’s possible that Barcelona may regret selling.
Ansu Fati had a season that was nowhere near his finest overall, but towards the close of his career he displayed moments of brilliant play.
A toast to you, Barcelona!

If the recent preseason tour to the United States is any indication, the young player appears to be performing at a high level once again.
During the few minutes that Fati was given to play on the tour, he really lit it up and even scored a spectacular game-winning goal against AC Milan.
It is possible that Barcelona and Xavi will come to regret their decision to sell the young phenom this summer if they make the mistake of selling him.
