Inter Miami’s third key addition of the summer, Jordi Alba, has already begun practicing with the squad. The club provided details about his first session on social media. In order to embark on a completely new journey in the United States soccer league, the Spanish fullback will be joining his former team mates from Barcelona, Lionel Messi and Sergio Busquets, in the city of Orlando, Florida.
The club uploaded a few of shots on their website showing the 34-year-old already in training with Florida Blue. In the pictures, the player can be seen being put through his paces by coach Tata Martino outside in the sunshine. It has been a couple of weeks since his arrival was announced, but Alba has not yet been properly presented by his new employers. It is thought that the defender will be introduced to the public at the DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale on Tuesday, August 1st.
Inter Miami will host Orlando City in the Leagues Cup Round of 32 on Wednesday evening. This will be the third game that will take place at their stadium throughout the tournament.
