As if anyone needed any further evidence that LeBron James is so beloved by so many people.

A video of a young supporter’s shock when she discovered that she was sitting next to the greatest player of all time in basketball went viral after it was posted online.

According to CNN’s coverage, a small girl by the name of Gaia attended the game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors and got the very finest seat in the house.

The NBA’s all-time scoring leader was ruled out of the game due to an ankle injury – but he wasn’t going to miss out on the action.

The 12-year-old girl was sitting court side when a man wearing a denim jacket and a green beanie casually strolled past her to take a seat.

As soon as Gaia realized who had occupied the seat next to her, you could see her conduct a quick mental calculation.

The one and only LeBron James.

Unable to contain her shock and excitement, the young fan tried to hide her emotion from the enormous man by covering her mouth. However, she was unable to do so.

Even while seated, the NBA veteran towered above the person sitting next to him in the stadium.

Fans couldn’t get enough of her reaction after it was filmed by television cameras and broadcast by the NBA’s Twitter account in a moment that has since gone viral.

One person commented that this was the “perfect response for sitting next to the goat!”

Someone else remarked, “This is the only correct reaction when King James sits next to you.”

A third person chimed in and said, “She’s no different than me [for real].”

Lisa Salters, a reporter for ESPN who was covering the game from the sidelines, was able to speak with Gaia.

Gaia shared the following with the reporter: “When he ended up sitting down here, it’s obvious that I’m not as tall as him, so I could only see his shoes.”

“Then I look up, and there’s LeBron James sitting next to me, and what’s going through my mind is, ‘Oh my God, the greatest player of all time in basketball is sitting next to me!'”

“I just completely lose it, and all that’s going through my head is, ‘Oh my goodness, this is probably the best moment of my life.'”

That is a very reasonable response to take.

Gaia disclosed that the tickets had been provided to her in the expectation that she would be able to witness LeBron shatter his record during that game.

She was really disappointed that she wasn’t able to watch James play at all.

But there is no question that this experience more than made up for that.

She even had the opportunity to meet the NBA great, and the Lakers even shared a photo of the two of them together after the game was over.
