Nathan Ake is widely regarded as one of the most adaptable footballers in the Premier League. More recently, though, he has shown that he is also an accomplished pianist.

The Dutch defender attended the renowned Chelsea academy at Cobham before enjoying profitable loan periods with Reading, Watford, and Bournemouth before joining the latter club permanently. Prior to making his permanent move, the defender joined Bournemouth.

According to ESPN, he played at the Vitality Stadium for a total of five years before making the move to Manchester City under Pep Guardiola in 2020 for a fee of £41 million. In spite of the fact that he struggled in his first two seasons, he is currently listed as one of the top names on the team sheet.

Ake demonstrates piano ability

In a video posted to Twitter by Sky Sports, the 25-year-old Dutch international demonstrated his abilities on the musical instrument.

 

He acknowledged that his busy schedule and the birth of his child with Kaylee left him with less time to practice. According to Telegraph UK, the birth was induced early last year so that he could witness it before he traveled to the World Cup.
