Manchester City have released their new third kit for the upcoming campaign, featuring sky blue and pink detailing on a dark shirt.
The Treble-winners released a video on Tuesday morning announcing their new shirt, with the likes of Erling Haaland, Jack Grealish and new signing Mateo Kovacic showing off the striking jersey.
The latest kit claims to be ‘powered by City’, with electricity an evident theme on the shirt to embody ‘the pulsating life and dynamism’ of their Manchester home.
Sky blue – the club’s colour – lightning strikes run over a dark shirt, with a pink puma logo, sponsor label and badge.
A 51-second video was released by the club’s Twitter account, with players posing in their new threads in a Tokyo-inspired cityscape, with fluorescent lighting brightening a dimly-lit backdrop in the Tokyo Kabuki Hall.

Grealish admitted that he was a fan of the club’s new kit which will be debuted in Tokyo on Wednesday
The Japanese capital is cited by the clip as another inspiration for their new look, and that is where the kit was exclusively launched, with the squad in town as part of their pre-season tour.
City’s new jersey is certainly eye-catching, and player-turned-kit-model Grealish is already a fan of the shirt he will be hoping to turn out in on a regular basis in 2023-24,
‘I absolutely love the new third kit, it is a proper eye-catcher and will look brilliant on pitch – I can’t wait to wear it in our match against Bayern Munich this week in Tokyo,’ he said.
‘It has been an amazing experience to visit and shoot our campaign in Tokyo, it’s an incredible place and it’s great that we can unveil our new kit here during pre-season.’
City’s kit is made from uLTRAWEAVE fabric which reduces weight and friction as a result of a four-way stretch design, affording players greater comfort and freedom of movement on the pitch.
It also has dryCELL technology fabric that is designed to reduce sweat, and is made from 100 per cent recycled materials.
The kit will be debuted on July 26, when City take on Bayern Munich at the Japan National Stadium.
The Citizens have already unveiled their new home kit as they prepare for their Treble defence.

Manchester City have unveiled their Etihad-inspired home shirt for the 2023-24 season
Designed by global sportswear giants Puma, the kit has taken inspiration from the standout navy blue kit worn during the club’s first campaign at the ground.
The postcode of the stadium is displayed on the back of its collar, while the kit is completed with a white V-neck, one identical to the same design used for the Etihad’s first kit, the 2003-04 home ᵴtriƥ.
The throwback design is a tribute to the club celebrating their 20th anniversary at the Etihad Stadium.
There has not yet been an announcement of an away kit for Pep Guardiola’s side, with the start of the 2023-24 campaign less than two weeks away.
