Bayern Munich arrived in Japan’ full-force, ready to face Man City

Bayern Munich FC will be traveling to Japan in July 2023 for their annual Audi Summer Tour. The German champions will play two friendly matches during their stay, one against Manchester City on July 26th at the Japan National Stadium in Tokyo, and the other against Kawasaki Frontale on July 29th at the same venue.

The match against Manchester City is sure to be a highly anticipated one, as the two teams are among the best in the world. City are the reigning Premier League champions, while Bayern are the defending UEFA Champions League winners. The match is also a rematch of the 2019/20 UEFA Champions League final, which City won 1-0.

The match against Kawasaki Frontale will also be a tough test for Bayern. Kawasaki Frontale are the current J1 League champions, and they are one of the most successful clubs in Japanese football. The match will be a good opportunity for Bayern to test themselves against a top Asian team.

Bayern’s trip to Japan will be their first since 2008. The club is hoping to use the tour to build up some momentum ahead of the start of the new season. The Bundesliga season begins on August 5th, and Bayern will be looking to defend their title.

The match against Manchester City will be broadcast live in the UK on CITY+ and Recast. The match against Kawasaki Frontale will be broadcast live in Japan on SKY Perfect JSAT.
