ITALY midfielder Arthur revealed that CR7 criticized his teammates for choosing bad food while playing for Juventus.
“I remember when I was playing for Juventus, in the dining room, Ronaldo always looked at our plates and joked about what we were eating,” Arthur said in a conversation with Mundo Deportivo newspaper on July 4 . “He’s very professional. I’ve never seen anyone like that.”
According to the Spanish newspaper, Ronaldo often chooses different dishes from his teammates. He prioritizes fish and vegetables, limiting fat and sweets. The 38-year-old striker always adheres to a strict exercise and diet regimen to keep his body strong.
Ronaldo holds the record of scoring 838 goals. During his 21 years at the top, he averaged 40 goals a year. Ronaldo ‘s most important titles include five Ballon d’Or, five Champions League, one Euro, three Premier League, two La Liga and two Serie A.
Ronaldo still plays well at an age where many other players have retired. In 19 matches in the second half of the 2022-2023 season, he scored 14 goals for Al Nassr. He also contributed five goals in the last four matches of the Portuguese team , bringing the international record to 123 goals.
Arthur plays with Ronaldo at Juventus season 2020-2021. After this season, CR7 returned to Man Utd , but had to leave after just over a year because of disagreements with the club and coach Erik Ten Hag. In January 2023, he joined Al Nassr on a free transfer.
Juventus loaned Arthur to Liverpool in the summer of 2022. However, due to injury and poor performance, the 26-year-old midfielder played only 13 minutes for the English team. This summer, Arthur must return to Juventus. When asked about his future, he said: “The transfer window is very long and we don’t know what will happen. Something interesting could happen for me and Juventus. I have a contract and I respect it, but we’ll see.”
Arthur has a contract with Juventus until June 2025. The 26-year-old midfielder joined the Italian team in the summer of 2020, from Barca, for $ 72 million with 10 million additional fees. Midfielder Miralem Pjanic moves in the opposite direction, for approx. Arthur played 63 games and scored one goal for Juventus.
