Erling Haaland enjoys 23rd birthday in Tokyo

Since they started playing for Manchester City together a year ago, their bromance has only gotten closer and closer to reaching its full potential.

And Jack Grealish made up for Erling Haaland being away from home to celebrate his 23rd birthday today by leading the celebrations in Tokyo, where the treble winners are on a pre-season tour. In other words, Jack Grealish led the celebrations in Tokyo to make up for Erling Haaland’s absence.

Jack Grealish, who was in Tokyo for Erling Haaland’s 23rd birthday party, took the lead in organizing the festivities there to make up for Erling Haaland’s absence from his hometown.

A surprise birthday party was organized for Erling in a restaurant in the Japanese capital, where he was presented with a cake adorned with candles that he was expected to blow out.

Jack, who has become the Norwegian superstar’s best friend ever since he arrived in England last summer, escorted him into the room and sung “Happy Birthday” to him. The celebration was in honor of the Norwegian superstar’s birthday.

The 27-year-old Birmingham midfielder, who has a reputation for being somewhat of a party animal, could also be seen dancing in the background with other Manchester City football players.

Erling was given a huge cake, but he declined to blow out the candles despite Jack’s encouragement to do so. The cake was brought to Erling.

According to a source close to the England player who spoke with MailOnline, “Jack adores Erling, and the two of them have a truly unique friendship.”

They are as competitive as they come when it comes to football, but they also have a great time together off the field. They have developed into a true pillar of strength for one another. And as it is almost always difficult to be away from one’s family on one’s birthday, it was especially nice of Jack to make such a big deal out of the occasion.

Jack also shared a picture on social media in which he and Haaland were seen posing with the Champions League trophy while traveling back to the United States from Istanbul following their victory over Inter Milan. The picture was taken aboard a private jet.

‘Happy Birthday brother,’ he wrote beside it, followed by three blue heart emojis.

In the later hours of the day, Erling’s teammate on Manchester City, the Croatian midfielder Mateo Koacic, also broke into song to celebrate Erling’s birthday.

Erling, a fashionista, spent his special day without his girlfriend Isabel Haugseng Johansen, who remained in Norway, where she plays football for Bryne Fotballklubb. Erling was dressed in his Manchester City training kit and wore a designer watch from his collection that is estimated to be worth one million pounds. Isabel Haugseng Johansen was absent because she was in Norway.

While this was going on, Jack was dressed in pink shorts with a white t-shirt with Manchester City emblazoned on it.

He and Erling make no secret of their bromance on Instagram – where they have a combined following of 42 million fans.

Footage on the social media platform showed the Premier League champions returning to training last week showed Erling was a warm hello to Jack.

Jack also seems to be a big fan of Erling’s new braided hair as he added: ‘Tell you what, I’m loving the barnet you know. Love it.’

During their celebrations after winning the treble, they were also both seen in silk Dolce and Gabbana pyjamas.
