Fabinho reached an agreement with the Middle Eastern club, ready to face Sadio Mane, Liverpool received ‘huge money’ to buy Klopp’s dream star

According to Brazilian sports news site GE Globo, Liverpool midfielder Fabinho has agreed a deal with Saudi club Al-Ittihad.

The site also confirmed that Fabinho will leave Liverpool after five years.

A few days ago, it was reported that Al-Ittihad expressed an interest in signing Fabinho. Sky Sports revealed that the Reds have allowed the midfielder to stay in England instead of joining the whole team for a pre-season training camp in Germany, enabling him to complete his move to Saudi Arabia.

Al-Ittihad signed N’Golo Kante this summer, so it would be rather odd for them to sign another defensive midfielder.

Fabinho is likely to leave Liverpool.

If this is the end for Fabinho at Liverpool , his time at the club will be remembered for the pivotal role Jurgen Klopp’s men played in winning every club title possible.

But in the last season, Fabinho’s form seriously declined. So instead of keeping a midfielder who is about to turn 30, Liverpool could sell him for a whopping £40m , more than the £39m they paid for him, and use that money to sign a younger replacement .

Replace Fabinho, Liverpool ‘seriously’ recruited blockbuster of Real Madrid

The Telegraph newspaper emphasized, The Kop considers the French star as a transfer target that can be closed.

After Real Madrid successfully recruited Jude Bellingham, the future of some stars like Federico Valverde and especially Aurelien Tchouameni is being questioned.

The French player just moved to the Bernabeu last summer for a fee of 80 million euros (according to Transfermarkt). In fact, he performed quite well in the early stages of joining the club.

Tchouameni is in the sights of Liverpool.

However, since the 2022 World Cup, Tchouameni has been playing worse and worse and has lost the main kick. In addition, the young French star also upset coach Carlo Ancelotti because of a few problems off the pitch.

Before this situation, Real is considering selling Tchouameni to balance the budget.

According to The Telegraph, if Los Blancos really want to get rid of the 23-year-old midfielder, Liverpool are ready to make an offer. Coach Jurgen Klopp has long targeted Tchouameni and so the Premier League representatives will seriously consider  recruiting him.

The Kop will almost certainly part ways with central midfielders Fabinho and Jordan Henderson. Faced with this situation, they are looking at potential transfer targets to expedite the negotiation process.
