Jota turned into a ‘lucky chicken’ on the day Liverpool debuted 2 rookies

Diogo Jota showed his scoring charm in the match Liverpool launched the rookie duo.

Dominik Szoboszlai made his first appearance for Liverpool in a friendly match against Karlsruher SC. The Hungarian star plays in the left midfield position next to Trent Alexander-Arnold and Bobby Clark.

The scoreboard soon jumped from the 2nd minute with Darwin Nunez’s gentle lap with his left foot.

The match was brought back to the starting line by Lars Stindl after 39 minutes of rolling the ball. The German striker hit a volley to beat Caoimhin Kelleher.

If Szoboszlai made his Liverpool debut in the first half, Jurgen Klopp used Alexis Mac Allister in the final 45 minutes. The World Cup 2022 champion appeared on the field when replacing Szoboszlai himself.

The presence of rookies cannot help Liverpool feel excited. The Premier League representative even let the opponent take the lead in the 50th minute. Sebastian Jung occupied a clear space on the right before finishing the stretch to help the host club have the second goal.

It took until the 69th minute for The Kop to have an equalizer. Cody Gakpo turned to handle the ball and finish with class to equalize the score 2-2.

Minutes 90+2, Diogo Jota dribbled the ball, faced the goalkeeper and helped Liverpool have a second lead in the match.

1 minute later, Jota continued to tear the German team’s net after the confrontation situation.

“Chicken” Jota fired consecutively to help Liverpool win 4-2.

An important victory helps Liverpool continue towards the summer tour.
