Luka Modrić takes to the court for a good cause: Charity tennis tournament in his hometown Croatia

The third installment of the Marin ‘ili’ Foundation’s charitable and athletic extravaganza Gem Set Croatia took place in Zadar.

Tennis matches were played today at Vinjik in Zadar by the best Croatian athletes for charity.

Marin “ili” and his foundation brought respected figures from a variety of sports to Zadar, the city of basketball, who delighted the crowded stands with their moves.

Along with “ili,” the following people were present: Eduardo da Silva, Valent Sinkovi, Ivica Zubac, Dario “ari,” Matea Jeli, Valentina Mrnjavi Pereglin, Filip Zubci, Andrej Gaina, Andrija Stipanovi, Ante “i,” Zoran Planini, Danijel Subai, Manuel “trlek,” Anelo Kvesi, Doris Bai

The game was briefly paused to honor Luka Suba with a golden log while his former national team colleague, retired Croatian goalie Danijel Subai, was on the field.

“At least something golden,” remarked a cheerful Subasic.

The proceeds from this campaign will be used to construct a sports field in Stankovci.

“They conduct physical education in the school hallway because they have nowhere else to go,” Marin Ili explained.

Ivan Ljubii recently returned from Wimbledon and arrived in Zadar:

“I’m thrilled that a foundation like this has longevity. The first year is the easiest because everyone is excited, but starting a tradition takes effort, which Marin accomplished. Gol.hr expresses himself.

“When I established the Foundation, I wanted to create a structure that functions consistently, to give it a traditional feel, and to help the community year after year.” I didn’t expect it to progress in this manner, or for such a lovely story to reach such heights. “In any scenario, top class,” declared Marin Cilic.

“The first two events were held in Alata and Petrinja, and both were extremely emotional.” There were four playgrounds built, and they were fantastic.
