It was reported earlier today that Juventus are willing to discuss the possibility of include Federico Chiesa in a trade with Barcelona in order to facilitate the transfer of Franck Kessie.

In continuation of this, SPORT has issued a story stating that although Barcelona have expressed interest in the player, they do have concerns over the player’s level of physical fitness.

It is not a secret that Barcelona would like to unload Kessie in order to bring in more revenue for the club. As a result, their plan is to use the money that is coming in to improve the performance of the other aspects of the teams.

As of today, Juventus has put in a request to meet with Barca later this week before the two clubs compete against each other in a preseason friendly in the United States. When the delegates from the two teams get together, they are going to have a much more in-depth conversation about the relocation.

It was previously hypothesized that Juventus would favor a loan-to-buy transaction in order to complete the signing of Kessie. However, it looks that they are now open to the idea of trading Chiesa for one of Barcelona’s players, which would result in Chiesa moving to Barcelona.

According to SPORT, Chiesa’s relationship with Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri is particularly strained, and this could work in the favor of Barcelona, who happen to have a lot of interest in the player. Chiesa has reportedly been a target of Barcelona’s interest. Above all else, there is the report that the Blaugrana had been tailing him for a considerable amount of time.

As a result of the trade that took place between the two clubs in the past involving Arthur Melo and Miralem Pjanic, Juventus and Barcelona now have a very positive connection with one another.

In addition, the Catalans have a positive interaction with the player’s surrounding surroundings; yet, the player’s physical condition appears to be the primary obstacle.

Although the player’s talent and versatility cannot be questioned, it is important to point out that he has only recently returned from a significant knee injury and has not yet reached his full potential.
